Loved this book

Can't wait to read Leah and the Waiting Game now. It's funny and gripping and just what football's about. Great storyline too and captures the essence of the struggles in girls football of years gone by. My 9 year old loved it and I also bought it for my girls U10s team. Paul is a talented writer.

Great read

Great book. It was for my 8 year old footy mad daughter but I had a sneaky read first. It was easy to read and I loved the story line.

Witty storyline and my 8 year old loved it

My daughter heard about this book from school. Even though she doesn't know football very well, she was told the book was funny. She wasn't disappointed and we downloaded the follow up "The Waiting Game" at the same time, which we also enjoyed. Highly recommended storyline, with the football theme accessible and not distracting.

I read this book and I absolutely loved it

It's good for young footballers as it can inspire them. A good, written story. I would highly recommend it and I can't wait to read the next one.
